Hallway Charlie Brown Decor

If you like Charlie Brown and his friends and love the concept of a Charlie Brown Christmas, then you would enjoy Umatilla High School on Friday, December 22 nd . A UHS tradition is to have a fun, student-wide celebration at the school on the day before Winter Break, and this year’s theme is Peanuts Day.

From 9:30 to 11 AM that morning, students can participate in a variety of fun, themed activities like crafts, cookie decorating, movie watching, board games, video games, open gym and more. Some of the crafts will include Snoopy ornaments, snow globes and small wreaths.

There is also a hallway decorating contest taking place.

All of the free fun is a way for the school to provide a festive holiday for students and send them off with a positive feeling for Winter Break, said April Dirksen, UHS Vice Principal. “It’s a great way for students to spend some time connecting with each other and just having some fun during the holiday season.”

Happy Holidays, UHS Vikings!
