UMATILLA 66, RIVERSIDE, WLWV 44 — David Garcia had 21 points and three assists to lead the Vikings to a victory over the Raptors in the first round of the Columbia River Clash at Umatilla High School.
Garcia scored 18 of his points in the first half as Umatilla jumped out to a 38-22 lead at the half.
The Vikings had a 28-22 scoring edge in the second half to distance themselves from the Raptors.
Mike McGee added 12 points and five assists for the Vikings (3-1), while Linkin Zamudio had 10 points, four rebounds and four steals, and Jayden Perches had eight points and six rebounds.
Conrad Mittelstrass led the Raptors (1-2) with a game-high 28 points.
