UMATILLA 81, COLTON 55 —Linkin Zamudio had a career-high 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Umatilla to third place in the Black Bracket at the Crusader Classic with a victory over Colton at Salem Academy High School.
Umatilla had a 20-18 lead after the first quarter, but it turned on the pressure in the second with a 20-9 run for a 40-27 lead at the half.
Umatilla had a 55-35 lead heading into the fourth quarter, where Zamudio had nine points as the Vikings went on a 26-20 scoring spree to secure the win.
David Garcia added 19 points and seven assists for Umatilla (9-3), while Cris Moreno had 14 points and eight rebounds.
Grant Bell had a game-high 28 points for Colton.
