MCLOUGHLIN 3, UMATILLA 0 — The Pioneers improved to 2-0 in the Greater Oregon League hybrid standings with a road win over the Vikings.

“The game was very physical,” Mac-Hi coach Victor Corona said. “Multiple cards on both ends with them having a red card. Besides the physicality, we were able to find the net three times and kept the net on zero. With that behind us, our focus is on our next game Thursday (hosting rival Riverside), which should be very entertaining.”

Mac-Hi (3-0 overall) got its first goal in the first half on an own goal by Umatilla.

In the second half, Sebastian Borges got the Pioneers on the board off an assist by Mason Harshfield, and Harshfield finished the scoring off an assist by Aaden Camarena.
