We continue to see the same positive trends and appreciate the cooperation of families during these stressful times of quarantine and testing.

This week, we had two positive staff cases. We had two student cases at UHS, one at CBMS and one at MHES. We have not had any cases of COVID-19 spread at school. Though our confirmed cases are small, the numbers of students in quarantine or exclusion because of the cases at school and in the community is quite large. While we're all frustrated by the quarantines and exclusions, it's important to note that they are an important part of the safety measures in place to help prevent cases.

You'll notice testing opportunity paperwork coming home this week. Key things to keep in mind:

1) We will not test your children under age 14 for COVID-19 without your consent.

2) If you do not wish to have your child tested for COVID at school, simply do not return the form.

3) If you do not wish to participate in the weekly at home testing options, simply do not enroll in the opportunity.

Testing opportunities at school are offered as a support to students and families and are in no way a requirement.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we navigate the safety and health requirements to keep students as healthy as possible at school.
