Congratulations to our Crystal Apple Award and Legacy Award recipients! We had the pleasure of celebrating them at the Intermountain ESD Awards Banquet on May 11th.
Our Crystal Apple awardees are Dorothy Estrada, alternative education teacher at Umatilla High School; Salesh Karan, 6th-grade math teacher at Columbia Vista Intermediate; Daphne Castro, head secretary at Clara Brownell Middle School; and Molly Hottman, 2nd-grade teacher at McNary Heights Elementary School.
Our Legacy Award awardees are Corinne Funderburk, language arts teacher and instructional coach at Umatilla High School, and David Lougee, the district’s librarian and ESL coordinator.
