Starting Summer 2024: Oregon Summer EBT is a program that will help pay for meals and will renew each year. Eligible school-age children will receive $120 per child during the summer for groceries. Summer break is a great time for students preparing to get their instruction permit to take their Oregon DMV knowledge test online. Students just need a laptop or a computer with a webcam, keyboard, mouse, and reliable internet. Students under 18 will need someone 21 or older to supervise them taking the test. Learn more about online testing by following this link. https://www.oregon.gov/odot/DMV/Pages/Online_Services/Online_Knowledge_Testing.aspx Testing online offers students the opportunity to test in a familiar and comfortable environment. Once they pass the online test, they can confidently head to a nearby DMV office with their identity documents to have their card issued. No appointment is necessary, although students under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian provide their signature at the DMV. – Las vacaciones de verano son un gran momento para que los estudiantes que se están preparando para sacar su permiso de conducir, tomen su examen de conocimientos en línea a través del DMV de Oregon. Summer in Oregon just got more awesome thanks to Summer EBT! Summer EBT’s mission is to help get healthy meals to kids throughout the summer break from school. Eligible school-aged children will each get $120 for groceries this summer, and the program will renew each year. If your household has an EBT card (Oregon Trail Card), your funds will be added to that card this summer. Otherwise, you’ll get a new card in the mail after you’ve been determined eligible.
