This was a busy week with COVID-19 testing in schools. We had 31 students and 17 staff test positive this week. The metric is updated. Despite the high numbers, we continue to be far below the 20% threshhold for student illness absences and we are appreciative of staff working together so we can keep schools open for students.
Please continue to be vigilant with monitoring symptoms, keeping ill students home, updating the offices of positive tests and following quarantine and exclusion guidelines. We hope that we will soon reach the peak and see our decline in cases once again. Until then, we will continue with mitigation efforts and work together to keep students and staff safely at school.
