Students learn to survive the wilderness
This year one of the classes being taught at Summer School/STEAM Camp is Outdoor Survival. This past week, students got the opportunity to learn how to make their own rabbit traps, as well as learn how to make solar ovens made out of pizza boxes! After making their solar ovens, they got the chance to try them out by making some s'mores. Students also learned how to put up a tent and enjoyed some fishing at Hat Rock. With STEAM Summer Camp coming to an end, Outdoor Survival still has some fun activities to wrap up the week.
