Save the date! The current UHS shop is moving to make space for the remodeling of the current shop to become elective classrooms for CBMS. Everything left behind will be sold at our surplus sale on June 13th from 6-8 pm. Start lifting your weights and training- all you can carry will count as an arm load. Our track athletes had a strong showing at the State Championships! Congratulations, Vikings! 3A girls Rylee Sanchez led Umatilla with a fifth-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 36-4.25, while Camila Rodriguez-Campos was sixth in the long jump (16-2.25). 3A boys Umatilla’s 4x400 relay team of Tanner Prindle, Atticus Tesch, Mason Munoz and Jayden Perches ran a season best 3:25.53 to place third. Luz Melissa Ortiz will be going straight into the workforce after graduation to save money to travel to Mexico, with the goal of attending college afterwards. – Luz Melissa Ortiz se ingresa directamente a la fuerza laboral después de graduarse para ahorrar dinero y viajar a México, con el objetivo de asistir a la universidad después.

Senior Spotlight! Yareli Coria will be attending Paul Mitchell to study cosmetology, focusing on hair and skin. Senior Spotlight! Alejandro Espinoza will be attending the University of Southern California, majoring in pre-med with plans to pursue a career in the medical field. He has received a $79,000 renewable scholarship each year to attend USC. – Alejandro Esprinoza asistirá a la University of Southern California, donde se especializará en premedicina con planes de seguir una carrera en el área médica.
