Last week’s field trip to the Hermiston community garden was a blast! Thanks to OSU and Master Gardeners for joining us. After harvesting kale from the McNary garden, we made some delicious kale chips. Special thanks to Carolina Muniz with OSU Snap ED and her assistants, Madeline & Ashley, for their amazing 7-week curriculum with our Summer School classes and for visiting us at the garden!

The Umatilla School District mourns the loss of Pedro Figueroa Mendoza and his father, Abrahan Figueroa.
Crisis Team members will be at Umatilla High School Monday, July 22nd, at 10:00 am to allow students and families to gather and grieve together. Notes and cards collected during this time (or delivered to the School District Office by 11:00 am Wednesday) will be shared with the family and placed in rest with Pedro.

There is a $10 registration fee. In addition, PE uniforms are required and can be purchased for $15 per set.
