Thank you, Umatilla Police Department! Today they took 15 CBMS students to shop for their families for Christmas. We would also like to thank Chief Huxel, Kylie, and Walmart for helping with this Shop-with-a-Cop event. Our students and families are truly blessed by this generosity and thoughtfulness. McNary Heights collected 1,483 non-perishable items from their Canned Food Drive! All food items were donated to the Umatilla Volunteer Firefighters Association for their annual Christmas Food Baskets. The class that brought in the most cans and won a Hot Chocolate Party was Ms. Estrella's 5th-grade class! Great work, Mustangs, and thank you to all the families who contributed!

Todos los alimentos fueron donados a la Asociación de Bomberos Voluntarios de Umatilla para sus Canastas de Alimentos Navideños anuales. ¡La clase que trajo la mayor cantidad de elementos y ganó una fiesta de chocolate caliente fue la clase de grado cinco de la Sra.
