Our track athletes had a strong showing at the State Championships! Congratulations, Vikings! 3A girls Rylee Sanchez led Umatilla with a fifth-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 36-4.25, while Camila Rodriguez-Campos was sixth in the long jump (16-2.25). 3A boys Umatilla’s 4x400 relay team of Tanner Prindle, Atticus Tesch, Mason Munoz and Jayden Perches ran a season best 3:25.53 to place third. The team’s time also shattered the school record of 3:31.80, set in 1978 at the Class 1A state championships by Jeff Watson, Mike Coombs, Dan Crandall and Charles Cook. – ¡Nuestros atletas de atletismo tuvieron una gran participación en el Campeonato Estatal! ¡Felicidades, Vikings! 3A Mujeres Rylee Sanchez lideró a Umatilla con un quinto lugar en lanzamiento de bala con una marca de 36-4.25, mientras que Camila Rodriguez-Campos obtuvo el sexto lugar en salto de longitud con un salto de 16-2.25. 3A Hombres El equipo de relevo 4x400 de Umatilla, conformado por Tanner Prindle, Atticus Tesch, Mason Munoz y Jayden Perches, logró su mejor marca de la temporada con un tiempo de 3:25.53, colocándose en tercer lugar.
