Thank you to all the friends and families who joined us for Academic Awards Night! We celebrated the achievements of 223 students who received awards for the 1st semester, totaling 634 awards. Among these, 68 students earned GPAs between 3.5 and 3.9, 30 earned 4.0 GPAs, and 7 maintained perfect attendance.
One student per grade level was also chosen to receive the Viking Award! Recipients of this award are students who exemplify what it means to be a Viking. They are leaders in school and work to succeed academically and in every activity/sport/club they participate in. Congratulations to our Viking Award winners, Naeyeli Rodarte, Lexie Soriano-Solis, Avery Gutierrez, and Miles Franks!

Congratulations to the Umatilla FTC teams who are advancing to the upcoming Oregon FTC Championships! Three teams qualified for the championships at the Umatilla FTC qualifier on Saturday, January 27th. We are proud of you teams, 7470, 7474, and 7497! CBMS had a total of 14 teams compete at the Umatilla qualifier. We appreciate the support from the high school robotics team, alumni, and former robotics parents who volunteered their time to help run the event and make it possible for our students!
