Basketball fans! Support the UHS Vikings on December 1st home in Umatilla and gain free entry by bringing four non-perishable food items to the basketball games. All donated food items will go to the Umatilla Volunteer Firefighters Association for their annual Christmas Food Baskets. – ¡Aficionados al baloncesto! Happy Thanksgiving from the Umatilla School District! There will be no school from November 22nd to November 24th. Students from UHS took another trip to the LIGO Hanford Observatory! This time, Mrs. Erz’s science classes got to learn about the mysteries of space. Umatilla High School is having a Food Drive! The food drive is a competition between advisory classes. The class that brings in the most non-perishable food items between November 13th and December 1st wins an ice cream party! If you would like to contribute, please drop off your donations at the Umatilla High School office between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. – ¡La escuela Preparatoria Umatilla está realizando una colecta de alimentos! Mrs. Buckallew took her students to visit the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave (LIGO) Observatory at Hanford last week! They explored the sight, learned from experts about gravitational waves, and participated in interactive science experiments. – ¡La Sra.
