After School STEAM students had a DINO-mite time being paleontologists last Friday at the OMSI Dino event! Students learned about prehistoric dinosaurs, fossils, and paleontology. They even did some fossil digging and put together a dinosaur from pieces! Thank you to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) and the Umatilla Public Library for organizing this T-REXcellent event. — ¡Los estudiantes de After School STEAM tuvieron un momento DINO-mite siendo paleontólogos el viernes pasado en el evento OMSI Dino! Yesterday the UHS CommuniCare Committee presented their grant awardees with checks at the CommuniCare Grant Awards Ceremony Celebration at the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute! We are so proud of our students who are making change in our community and for all their hard work as grantmakers.
