Due to icy conditions, all Umatilla schools are on a 3 hour delay tomorrow, December 7th.

Due to icy road conditions and forecasted low temperatures throughout the morning, school is canceled for Tuesday, December 6th.
Due to continued poor road conditions and inclement weather, Umatilla Schools will be cancelled Monday, December 5th.

Umatilla School District Staff Spotlight
Due to snow, all Umatilla schools are on a three hour delay for Monday, December 5th. Please make a backup plan in case cancellation becomes necessary. We will drive again in the morning and provide additional updates by 8 am. The three hour delay is simply three hours later than normal.

Thank you to all the parents and families who joined us for McNary Heights Thanksgiving Feast! We sold over 200 tickets and had a great turnout of parents. We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our nutrition staff and our PTO! They prepared and served 750 delicious meals today for this event. The Umatilla High School’s new Collaborative Wrestling team with Irrigon had its first match today! Umatilla also had its first pin in 15 years! Great work, Vikings, and a special thank you to Mr. Lorence and the Irrigon Wrestling program for making this possible for Umatilla students.
¡El nuevo equipo de Lucha Colaborativa de la Escuela Preparatoria Umatilla con Irrigon tuvo su primer partido hoy! ¡Umatilla tuvo su primer pin en 15 años! Gran trabajo, vikingos, y muchas gracias al Sr. Lorence y al programa de lucha de Irrigon por hacer esto posible para los estudiantes de Umatilla.
Basketball fans! Tomorrow night support the UHS Vikings at Stanfield and gain free entry by bringing four nonperishable food items! All donated food items will go towards the UHS's Rudolph Run collection and then given to the Umatilla Volunteer Firefighters Association for their annual Christmas Food Baskets.

The deadline for submitting senior portraits for the yearbook is Friday, December 16th. Please email a digital copy to Mrs. Lougee, or bring a hard copy to the high school that we can scan and return to you.

Happy Thanksgiving! This is a reminder that the Umatilla School District will not have school from today, November 23rd, to Friday, November 25th. School will resume on November 28th.
