McNary Heights will have spring class and individual pictures on Thursday, April 3rd. Photos can be ordered online at https://www.barksdalestorefront.com/store/event_login/?ac=0096679SG. All students will have their individual photo taken, even if they don’t place an order. Students who don’t preorder will receive a proof packet with the option to order later. During National School Breakfast Week, students got to taste test a new breakfast sandwich, and they loved it! – Durante la Semana Nacional del Desayuno Escolar, los estudiantes pudieron probar un nuevo sándwich de desayuno, ¡y les encantó!

Umatilla High and Clara Brownell Middle are in a lock down status due to a neighborhood situation. Students are safe and in the school. We will send another alert when the situation is resolved.

McNary Heights wrapped up Read Across America Week with school-wide book buddies! Older classes paired up with younger classes, and students found a buddy to read with. Classes also decorated their doors, turning the school into a Book Walk for students to explore and check out! Registration for session four of the STEAM Academy is now open! Registration forms are available at all three school offices. Today was Thing One and Thing Two Day at MHES for Read Across America Week!
