The McNary Heights MOST assemblies canceled due to the weather last week have been rescheduled. If you received a letter in the mail that your student was receiving a MOST award, the assemblies will be held this Thursday, January 25th at the same times as stated on the letter. The times are: 2nd-3rd grades at 8:50am, 4th-5th grades at 9:55am, and Kinder-1st grades at 2:20pm. The assemblies will be held in the big gym, and you can sign in there upon arrival.

Following the success of the Pozole Taste Test at CBMS earlier this year, FoodCorp members Lourdes and Rosa decided to organize one last week at McNary as well, and the results are in! The MHES Pozole Taste Test was a HUGE success, with 91% of students saying they enjoyed the food item. It will soon be added to the MHES menu! Check out the recipe attached below to enjoy this food item at home!

Registrations for session three of the STEAM Academy of Umatilla are now open! Registration forms are due by January 18th. Forms are available at all three schools and the district office. Late forms will be accepted; however, start date will depend on availability. Session three will begin on Monday, January 29th.
