Today, Umatilla High School had a blast celebrating Saint Patrick's Day with an assembly full of fun games! As a special twist for Pi Day, ASB put together a fundraiser where students were able to purchase tickets to vote on which staff members they wanted to see get pied in the face. Check out the photos below!

Hoy, la Escuela Preparatoria Umatilla se divirtió muchísimo celebrando el Día de San Patricio con una asamblea llena de juegos divertidos. Como sorpresa especial para el Día de Pi, ASB organizó una recaudación de fondos donde los estudiantes pudieron comprar boletos para votar por cual miembros del personal querían ver recibir una pastel en la cara. ¡Echa un vistazo a las fotos abajo!

Yesterday was an exciting day for Umatilla High School juniors as they had the opportunity to hear a presentation and visit with representatives from Oregon Public Universities! They gained insights into academic programs, application processes, and learned more about campus life.

There are just a few weeks left to NOMINATE school district employees for the 2024 Crystal Apple Awards.
These awards honor district employees who are doing an outstanding job in their work and making a difference for students.
Who CAN nominate? Anyone can nominate an employee -- administrators, teachers, paraeducators, other school staff, parents or community members.
Who can BE nominated? Nominees can be any full-time or part-time employee who has a cumulative total of regular service of at least one year in the school district. Licensed, classified, any employee group is eligible.

Students and their families are invited to see their teachers working at McDonalds! Students will get to see their teachers behind the scenes passing out food, selling cookies, and much more.

The boys basketball team leaves to play against Harrisburg tomorrow! If you are attending the game, purchase tickets online at https://www.osaa.org/shop/tickets. Additionally, there will be a Community Send-Off tomorrow to wish the team good luck as they make their way out of town. The send-off will start at 9:30 am, and will be in downtown Umatilla.
