Congratulations to Umatilla High School students who received academic and perfect attendance awards Tuesday night! Almost 200 students received awards for the first semester, and over 400 total awards were given out! Perfect attendance winners were Natelie, Lance, Liam, Joshua, Donovan, Dominick, and Alexa! Way to go, Vikings! One student per grade level was also chosen to receive the Viking Award! Recipients of this award are students who exemplify what it means to be a Viking. They are leaders in school and work to succeed academically and in every activity/sport/club they participate in. Congratulations, Viking Award winners! Congratulations to Henry! Henry was this week's Fab Friday winner at McNary Heights. McNary Heights's goal is to improve attendance with Fab Fridays. Every Friday, MHES will celebrate students who are in school that day with a drawing. Students in attendance will receive a raffle ticket, and one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a prize. This week's prize was lunch with vice principal Mr. Young! ¡Felicidades a Henry! Henry fue el ganador del Fab Friday de esta semana en McNary Heights.
